Establish a House with Gum!
If you haven’t gone Visiting Teaching yet, no worries, I found another message enhancer for you. Today I found this super awesome idea on another cute Visiting Teaching blog by Kristin to enhance March’s Visiting Teaching Message. So glad others feel the same way about Visiting Teaching as I do. :) You can also use this message enhancer as a drop by gift, just to keep reinforcing this month’s message, depending on what part of the message you want to focus on for the sisters you Visit Teach.
She’s using this quote…
by President Spencer W. Kimball: “Home is a haven against the storms and struggles of life. Spirituality is born and nurtured by daily prayer, scripture study, home gospel discussions and related activities, home evenings, family councils, working and playing together, serving each other, and sharing the gospel with those around us. Spirituality is also nurtured in our actions of patience, kindness, and forgiveness toward each other and in our applying gospel principles in the family circle”
…and this scripture…
Doctrine & Covenants 88:119: “Establish a house, even a house of prayer, a house of fasting, a house of faith, a house of learning, a house of glory, a house of order, a house of God.”
…as a basis and inspiration for her cute crafty message enhancer.
