Treat Tuesday #25 – Anxiously Engaged

Today’s Treat is another great enhancer for this month’s Visiting Teaching Message. When I said this month had great quotes, I meant it! I think this one is my favorite. Why? Well, it’s mainly because this one has something to do with being a “girl’s best friend.” That’s right ladies, lets get those diamonds out and show them off. No…j/k! I wanted us to remember that just like diamonds are a girls best friend, we too need to be a friend and more to the sisters we Visit Teach, we also need to be great women. I made this card to illustrate that message.

73. Engagement Ring:
“We need women to set an example of righteousness. We need women to be ‘anxiously engaged in a good cause.’ We need to live so that our lives bear witness that we love our Heavenly Father and the Savior Jesus Christ and that we will do what They have asked us to do” (Barbara Thompson, second counselor in the Relief Society general presidency: “Now Let Us Rejoice,” Liahona and Ensign, Nov. 2008, 116).

Instructions:
- Just print on cardstock in color. (4-up aka 4 on one page)
- Cut out cards. Each card is approx 4″ x 5.25″
- Optional: Add magnet, add ribbon or laminate it.
- Write both of your names on the back with a little note so they know who gave them the card.
Translations: I wasn’t sure if the same word “engaged” translated into engagement ring in other languages, so if it does, I’d love to translate the cards for you. Just let me know. Thanks for your help with this.

hi Linda…
could send in word for me?
loved … kisses
or Portuguese, if possible …. thanks
Fernanda,
Glad you like it. I didn’t use word to make this card, I used Photoshop and inDesign, so I will just translate it for you. What are the 2 words which should go on top of the ring?
Thanks for your help. <3 Linda
Wow……I love the Anxiously Engaged hand out.
Beautiful work Thanks so much!!
Hi Linda! Thanks for letting me know you like it. U Rock!
Wow. Wow. Does any of this talent rub off on others with proximity. Because if so…then we definitely aren’t spending enough time together! Thanks again for my “Personal” Copy! Loved it!
xoxo
Cory,
Love ya, Linda
Of course it rubs off, doesn’t everything? And if it doesn’t I can of course come and show you. We could do a class or something, but only after New Moon. LOL
BTW your title wouldn’t fit, “anxiously, eagerly and lovingly engaged… in millions of great causes.”
