September VT Postcard

1 September 2011 No Comments Yet

Our dear Sister Telisa from Sugar Tot Designs has designed yet another darling postcard to give or mail to the sisters we visit teach to help remind them of this months Visiting Teaching Message. Please congratulate this amazing Mom who just found out she is prego with her 3rd boy. Yippy! I am still in awe of all of the things moms with more than 1 child can do throughout their day. Thanks Telisa for making time to design this wonderful handout for us Visiting Teachers.

Great quotes she included on the postcard are:

Julie B. Beck, Relief Society general president, said: “There has grown in me an overwhelming testimony of the value of daughters of God. … I have felt that there has never been a greater need for increased faith and personal righteousness. There has never been a greater need for strong families and homes. The ability to qualify for, receive, and act on personal revelation is the single most important skill that can be acquired in this life,”

Elder Ballard explains: “We prepare each day, right now, for eternal life. If we are not preparing for eternal life, we are preparing for something less, perhaps something far less.”

I love and appreciate Telisa Van Leeuwen because: She is a great digi designer, is a great mom, wife and an amazing DIYer too! She sells some of her digi designs prints for Primary children, Young Women and for the family including custom name signs, alphabet/number prints and custom family trees. You will also find birthday party invitations, coordinating birthday party kits and custom Etsy shop kits. Custom prints for all ages are available upon request. I feel so blessed that she was so willing to share her talents with each of us, Visiting Teachers. She is a sister full of many talents, just like each of you, check out her DIY blog, to learn from her and then you can teach others some classes in Relief Society. Especially love her because she too has a desire to further the work of the Lord here on the Earth with her many talents and the blessings she has been given.

In celebration of her being prego with her 3rd boy, she is giving away some free “Oh Boy” tags AKA cupcake toppers. Visit her site to download the free printable.
