Treat Tuesday #36 – Menu Calendar

Today’s Treat is, you guessed it, a Menu Calendar! Just as I promised. You can use Velcro dots or Magnets. I am so in love with this new Menu Calendar, it’s perfect for me. I designed it using several LetteringDelights’ digital graphic products. Super cute!!!! I sure hope you gals like it too. Now I will have to plan my meals.
In this month’s Visiting Teaching message Julie B Beck said, “I asked several bishops what self-reliance skills the sisters in their wards needed most, and they said budgeting. Women need …

Self-Reliant Goals Sheet

At the start of this New Year, my husband & I reviewed our 2010 goals and then he mentioned that in order to realize my goals, or make them happen, I need to write them down and post them up somewhere so I can see them often. Then I’ll have that constant reminder. This is a great idea, he’s such a smart guy! I’m a list person (if you couldn’t tell), therefore if I don’t make a list, I’m just going from one thing to the next without actually finishing …

Treat Tuesday #35 – Good Courage!

Today’s Treat is from Megan Curtis from Florida. She’s designed an 8.5″x11″ Courage Poster and a smaller 8″x8″ handout using the Warrior Princess silhouette I designed when I made the Armed with Prayer cards for her lesson on the last Sunday before the New Year. She’s amazingly talented!
“Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest” (Joshua 1:9)
This is the 2010 Annual Theme for the Young Women. One file is a poster of the …

Wonder Gal 2010 Calendar

This is the year. For real this time! This is the year that I will for sure be doing the things which I’ve been meaning to do for a long time, but just can’t seem to get myself to do them. LOL 2010 is pretty much here and in order to set those goals and resolutions I’ll need a calendar. So, I will obviously share the one I made using a digital paper pack from LetteringDelights.com called “Cherry on Top.” Included is a quote from Julie B Beck from the …

Treat Tuesday #33 – Loving Gingerbread

Today’s Treat on Friday… I guess one of my New Years resolutions should be to actually get Treat Tuesdays out on Tuesday. LOL Anyway, here’s a Gingerbread Gal with a quote from this month’s Visiting Teaching Message from Silvia H. Allred. I chose a Gingerbread gal because the quote had to do with love, compassion, kindness and charity. The gingerbread gal looked so sweet, had a smile on her face and had her arms stretched, seemed perfect! Pretty much what we need to look like while serving others. Right? Plus, …

Treat Tuesday #32 – Service Mittens

Today’s Treat is on Wednesday! These “Service Mittens” include the first quote from this month’s Visiting Teaching Message by President Dieter F. Uchtdorf Second Counselor in the First Presidency. I chose these cute mittens because, it’s snowing outside and when I think of serving others in the snowy winter season, I think of shoveling snow. Why? It’s a service which you know they need done simply by looking out your window or driving by, it can be done anonymously (if doing it early in the morning or when people are …

Home for Christmas Layered Nativity Book

This month we get to celebrate Christ’s birth and reason he was born. He was born to be our perfect example and atone for our sins, the greatest gift anyone can receive. The First Presidency message by President Henry B. Eyring is titled “Home for Christmas.” I used his message & Lettering Delights’ DB Nativity Doodlebat Font to design this Visiting Teaching and even Home Teaching Enhancer. I absolutely love this message and I think you will too. Although it’s not the standard Visiting Teaching Message, Pres. Eyring’s message still …

“ity” Bitty Toilet Paper Roll Turkey

This is a fun enhancer for the month of November. It’s a Turkey Printable! I’m sure you all are probably sick of the turkey but this one is sooo cute and won’t add on any pounds. LOL I used quotes from Bishop H. David Burton, “Let Virtue Garnish Your Thoughts,” message from October’s General Conference. I just loved when he mentioned the “ity” virtues. So cute! Well, enough chit chat, we’re all super busy, right? So here’s my rough draft (because both of my laser printers ran out of toner, …
