22 LDS.org Vemes (Video Quotes)

I just love these! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has designed these vemes (short video quotes, all less than 30 seconds) from our last General Conference held October 2015, for our benefit and to encourage us to #ShareGoodness. I just love how the Savior uses technology to further His work and allows us the same privileges. He is literally giving us the tools we need, at our fingertips, we have no excuse not to take advantage of them, especially with the sisters we have been blessed to Visit Teach.

#LDSConf Visiting Teaching (Nov ’15)

“185th Semiannual General Conference,” Ensign/Liahona, Oct 2015
One of my favorite months out of the whole year for Visiting Teaching! Getting to choose messages to share with my sisters is so fantastic because each one needs a little something different and because of that I get to review all of the talks from #LDSConf to help me know which one will be best for them. Sure it’s a crazy amount of talks to review, but in the end I’m the one who really benefits anyways because I always learn so much from reviewing several talks.
I’ve …

Oct 2014 #LDSConf Reading Chart

I love watching, reading, listening & re-reading the inspired words of Prophets, Apostles and other General Authorities of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It’s something that brings peace and strength to my life. I loved this story which President Dieter F Uchtdorf shared during Women’s Conference in 2014. I just love love LOVE IT and have to share it! He expresses so much love from the Lord here in this talk (seriously if your sisters need a boost, have them read/watch/listen to this talk!) he also helps …

1st General Women’s Meeting

So excited for our first ever LDS General Women’s Meeting!!! As you know they have previously either been for Young Women from ages 12yrs and up or just Relief Society Women 18yrs and up. This year however, it’s going to be for all women, young women and girls 8yrs and older!! That is so wise. I already know so many mother’s who have shared stories and quotes from those conferences with their daughters anyways. See the official announcement here! (Sure, that does mean I had plenty of time to design …

Watchcare & Ministering (4×5 cards)

Sister Telisa from Sugar Tot Designs, with everything that’s going on in her life and soon to be mom of 3 boys under 3 (she reminds me of my amazing MIL) has taken the time to design a darling postcard to give or mail to the sisters we visit teach to help remind them of this months Visiting Teaching Message. There are four 4×5″ cards on a page.
Some goals she has set for herself this year 2012 are:
1- STAY CALM
2- Read the Book of Mormon with my family EVERY DAY
3- …

Accepting Apples 3×4

We have been approached by yet another very creative and talented sister. Sister Kassidy Thomas started Bow Peep Creations and she founded it in January 2009, here in Utah.  After years of creating handmade gifts for friends and family, Kassidy decided to start her own business. She left the world of hairdressing to follow her dreams. Bow Peep Creations designs amazing products, things for Young Women, Primary, Family Home Evening, Holidays, Kids, Jewelry, and more.

I asked her to tell me why she designed this particular handout. Here is what she …

Family Home Evening Agenda

I had the pleasure this month of teaching our presidency lesson in Relief Society the 1st week of July. Our Bishop suggested we continue to focus on the family and therefore the lesson was titled, “Family Home Evening.” There is a plethora of information out there, such as; when the Family Home Evening Program was 1st announced (96 years ago, wow we need it more now than ever!), why we need to have FHEs (to stay together), what lessons can be taught (everything!), to be consistent (every week!), to make …
